How does this online learning and course program work?
Each term in the Master's Degree program is eight weeks. American Pacific University's new online learning and course program work consists of eight sessions per course. In the program, one course is taken per term. In the duration of each course, the University is utilizing a learning platform called Desire 2 Learn that will serve as the media between the learners and educators.
The University's learning platform possesses a variety of features that will provide the learners with a place on the internet to read assignments, listen to lectures, find access to other materials on the web as well as interact with the educator and other co-learners.
Assignments and learning materials are downloadable from that site. Audio presentations are also incorporated to enhance the learners' learning experience. Learners are requested to participate in one session each week and will complete written and reading assignments during the week. Assignments can be individual but with the flexibility to also work in a team with other learners on projects during the course.
